Can’t believe I’m already sucking at blogging, lol. Work is kicking my rear, and I’m loathe to give up *any* reading time to post! But, I should start as I mean to go on…so a very quick update…
I’m currently devouring Pride and Prejudice & Zombies, and loving it, in fact I’m off to finish it as soon as I’m done here. Next on the pile is My Sister’s Keeper. I have to work all weekend as well as all week, so I doubt I’ll update until next Monday when I have some time in lieu. At that point, let the reviews commence

“Patient Zero” – Jonathan Maberry
“Dead Until Dark” – Charlaine Harris
“Shopaholic & Baby” – Sophie Kinsella
(Waterstones 3 for 2 offer)
“Pride and Prejudice and zombies” – Austen/Grahame-Smith
The Kinsella is glaringly out of place…hmmm…chick lit really isn’t usually my thing, honestly. I’ve not been well lately, and…there’s….hormones….going on. *shamefaced*. If my old pupils ever saw me reading Kinsella I’d never hear the end of it

With pretty much everything in my life changing, and with a shedload of time off work on the horizon, I’m back to my books in the biggest way possible. Although I’m a lifelong bookworm many things have been getting in the way of my reading time lately, but no more, I’m all about the books again.
There’s no way I could ever catalogue all my books, or even just all my favourites, but I’ll start from today…listing my Amazon & Borders splurges and reviewing my reads. Essentially this is for my own enjoyment and benefit, but if I can meet some other book bloggers along the way, it’d all be good
I used to teach English lit, back when I knew who I was and life was simple. A million things changed, and essentially I sold my soul to a software company. I hate myself for it, but it keeps me in more books than I could ever have imagined. My tastes range from the classics, to horror and fantasy, a little bit of sci-fi every once in awhile, and YA fiction here and there too.
So..hey blog world…nice to meet you! I’m going to work on a “10 of my all time favourite reads” posts, but…narrowing the list down to just 10…may time some time.
